SRX952211: RNAs from 16-month-old Infected Plant Roots
1 LS454 (454 GS FLX Titanium) run: 455,550 spots, 254.7M bases, 555.2Mb downloads

Design: RNA from roots of 4 plants infected for 7 months with Phytophthora cinnamomi. RNA was pooled. RNA was extracted using Plant RNeasy kits (QIAGEN). Non-normalized library. cDNA was produced from total RNA using the SMART methodology.

show Abstracthide Abstract
The transcriptome analysis of Q. suber directed to genes related to biotic stress caused by Phytophthora cinnamomi infection, the main biotic contributor to the decline disease aims at the characterization of target and regulatory genes that are responsive to the infectious process leading to the understanding of the genetic mechanisms underlying Quercus defence against P. cinnamomi and is an essential prerequisite for the implementation of future control strategies.
Sample: Roots from 16-month-old plants infected with Phytophthora cinnamomi
